The Community Farm of Ann Arbor is looking for a farmer to lead an established community devoted to biodynamic agriculture as soon as possible.
The Community Farm of Ann Arbor (http://www.communityfarmofaa.org/ ) is a 30-year old biodynamic CSA (community supported agriculture project) which has been in its current location in Chelsea, MI for 25 years serving the greater Ann Arbor area. It encompasses a supportive community of about 60 member families who enjoy celebrating the gifts of the earth and community, 7 acres of cultivated fields, a 20-acre hay field, pasture, 2 heritage barns (that have housed cows and goats), a chicken coop, bees in an apiary, several tractors (including a solar tractor) with implements, a greenhouse and cold frames.
We are looking for a devoted biodynamic farmer to begin no later that early spring 2021, who can feed the member families while caring for the regenerative health of the earth, manage day to day finances, and help maintain the farm as a center of well-being.
