February 14, 2020

A Rastafarian, Native American, Ayurvedic, TCM & Western Appalachian Herbal Approach to medicine making.

It starts with a seed, a plant, a passion to connect, to cultivate, to cleanse, to heal.

We will be discussing the healing power of cultivating your own apothecary (with plants from all major healing traditions), the myth of sustainable commercial wild harvesting of medicinal plants, a plea for organic permacultivation of medicinal plants to maintain biodiversity, plants as trans-formative agents physically and spiritually, herbal approach to treating Lyme and other diseases, and of course, methods of preparing herbal tinctures, aceta, glycerites, and infused oils. We will demonstrate how to make a tincture and have on display jars of other tinctures still in process.

Seize back your power, give away your love. May peace prevail within. One Love.

10am-4pmEST.

Registration Fee is $40 and includes a take-home medicinal tincture made in the class.

This class will be held at I-tal Acres garden sites and at the Josephine Porter Institute (for the portion on tincture-making).
